Auburn Career Center staff members are trained, experienced, and state-certified in the career field they teach. Auburn’s CTE teachers deliver instruction in the academic, technical and technological skills and knowledge related to their subject matter as well as the employability, entrepreneurship, management, and safety skills required for workplace success.
Auburn Career Center offers multiple educational resources for students, including both school based and work-based learning opportunities, including seminars, clubs, internships, job-shadowing, clinical placements, community service learning, and employment experiences which are available to all students. These educational resources open doors to careers, colleges and the future.
Students and staff have opportunities to explore current industry trends in collaboration with our business partners and advisory committees. Through this collaboration, our competencies and technical vocational teaching areas are guaranteed to be industry specific and to meet industry standards.
