Program Snapshot

ISS is a two year program of study focused on all aspects of computer technology. ISS is delivered in an engaging project based method of instruction allowing the student to learn in a hands-on realistic learning environment along with Web-based learning which allows the student to learn at an individual pace.  ISS core subjects are:

  • Computer Hardware
  • Computer Software 
  • System Analysis
  • Basic Robotics
  • Computer SOftware Applications, including:
    • Microsot Office Suite
    • Basic Web Design
    • Programming
    • Databases
    • Basic Photo/Video/Audio editing

Program Outcomes

Successful completion of the program will provide the student with:

Knowledge and Skills of Languages and Applications

This program prepares students to :

  • build, evaluate, troubleshoot and maintain computers both hardware and software
  • determine and use the best application program(s) to use for a process
  • engage in the world with 21st Century  Employability Skills
