Junior Year

Student will:

  • Identify the importance and need for law in business, while learning the legal and ethical practices of companies, as well as the laws surrounding them
  • Develop viable business models for launching, growing and expanding a business
  • Participate in student organizations

Senior Year

Student will:

  • Understand the principles surrounding business management practices through real-life application, internship opportunities, and college bound coursework
  • Participate in student organizations

Program Outcomes

  • Aquire knowledge of business processes, economics and business relationships
  • Learn to manage a workforce, lead change, and build relationships with employees and customers
  • Examine all aspects of business law including the judicial system, differences between types and orgins of laws, administrative and employment laws and laws impacting individuals and businesses
  • Obtain fundamental knowledge and skills in accounting, banking services, corporate finance, insurance, securities and investments
  • Obtain skills in marketing communications, marketing management, marketing research, merchandising and professional selling
  • Technology, leadership and communication skills will be incorporated in classroom activities
