Star Precision Donates $2,500 for RoboBot
01/26/2017

Star Precision Technologies donated $2,500 for to Auburn Career Center’s RoboBot team. Aaron Retych, an employee of Star Precision Technologies and recent graduate of Auburn’s advanced manufacturing program, is working as a consultant on the team.

“Star is a supporter of the RoboBot competition through AWT and donated to Auburn’s RoboBot team to help with the exposure and development of young people in the manufacturing field where the skilled workforce is in short supply,” said Ken Marvar, director of sales and marketing.

Star Precision Technologies hires adult and high school graduates and has had many interns.

Joe Manni, the most recent adult manufacturing intern, was recently hired full time. Star has employed three high school and two adult students within the last 2 ½ years.
