We want to take a moment to congratulate our HVAC students who competed on Saturday at the ACCA HVAC Skills Competition. Auburn students, Christopher Diemert, Leo Ornelas, Joe Pastor, Noah Yoder, Alex Zak, and Chase Spaid competed against 38 students from 8 schools in Ohio. The competition included sheet metal fabrication, copper tubing brazing, HVAC troubleshooting, HVAC parts identification, interviewing and soft skills, and HVAC electrical wiring. Joe Pastor earned Second place in the sheet metal fabrication category and Second place in the copper tubing brazing category. Leo Ornelas earned First place in the for category individual schools, having the highest combined score among Auburn students. Both Joe and Leo will represent Auburn in Columbus for the SkillsUSA Competition. Congratulations and Good Luck!
